oral tradition
there is
Revolution
playing
in my tape deck
along with
Ob-La-Di
Ob-La-Da
while my
young sons
green eyed
& brown
sit in the
backseat &
stare out
the window
their mouths
closed as
they study
the cold
April rain
watching
it paint
the dirty
asphalt
black &
clean.
