Miranda Merklein

Miranda Merklein was born in Asheville, North Carolina and germinated in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She plans to publish Journal of Truth and Consequence until the end of time.

Merklein's work has appeared or is forthcoming in Oxford American, Natural Bridge, Permafrost, The Columbia Review,  and others. She is currently a PhD candidate in creative writing at the University of Southern Mississippi. She holds an MA in liberal arts from St. John's College and a BA in political science from College of Santa Fe.
